Panastara Diamond Guide

Matching Engagement and Wedding Rings

Matching does not have to mean identical. The best engagement and wedding-ring combinations repeat proportions, geometry or a motif while allowing each ring to look complete on its own. Panastara uses nesting and interlocking ideas to make the pair feel intentionally designed together.

Start with the side profile

From above, almost any two rings can appear compatible. The real engineering question is the side profile: basket height, prongs, shoulders and band thickness determine whether the wedding ring can sit where you expect.

Shared motifs without costume matching

A repeated curve, star point, taper or stone rhythm can connect the two rings without making them look like one bulky object. This is especially useful when the wedding band will sometimes be worn alone.

Order with the final stack in mind

Panastara jewellery is made to order. Where a centre stone is sold as IGI certified, it is supplied with the corresponding independent grading report. Precious-metal pieces that fall within UK hallmarking requirements are hallmarked before delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Should a wedding ring sit flush with an engagement ring?

That is a style preference, but if a flush fit matters, it should be designed into the engagement-ring profile rather than assumed later.

Can a straight band work with a solitaire?

Often yes when the solitaire gallery is sufficiently raised or shaped, but low baskets may require a contour or nesting band.

Can matching rings use different widths?

Yes. Different band widths can still look cohesive when proportions and design details are intentionally coordinated.
