Panastara Diamond Guide

2.5 Carat Lab-Grown Diamond Rings

Two and a half carats sits between the popular 2 carat statement size and the scale of a 3 carat centre stone. It is large enough that proportions and millimetre dimensions become especially important, while still fitting a broad range of solitaire and detailed settings.

Compare dimensions as well as weight

At 2.5 carats, shape and depth can change face-up coverage noticeably. Compare length and width, not just the carat figure, especially across oval, radiant, emerald, pear and marquise stones.

Choose grades you can actually see

Very high colour and clarity grades can add cost without always producing a visible improvement in normal wear. Prioritise cut, attractive proportions and an eye-clean appearance for the selected shape.

Made to order

Panastara jewellery is made to order. Where a centre stone is sold as IGI certified, it is supplied with the corresponding independent grading report. Precious-metal pieces that fall within UK hallmarking requirements are hallmarked before delivery.
